'Very nice and comfortable cottage. Duncan gave us a warm welcome with a nice loaf of bread! The surroundings are beautiful and you can enjoy walking around. It's very quiet and relaxing around here. We liked very much to visit Norwich, Bury St. Edmunds and several houses and gardens. The houses and villages are beautifully kept.
Suffolk is not too touristic and that's very different from, by example, the Cotswolds. We haven't met other Dutch people here (tourists) except the woman in the Co-op in Eye! She lives here already for seven years. Such a strange co-incidence that we met the only Dutch lady who lives here!
We had a lovely stay in Bakers Cottage. I will 'pin' some photos on my Pinterest page.'
Couple from The Netherlands - 18th September 2017

Couple from Kent - 8th September 2017
'We've loved staying in this beautiful cottage, so cosy, clean and welcoming. The children absolutely loved the garden and games.
We enjoyed visiting Southwold, and we also spent the day in Norwich. It rained non-stop one day, but we spent a few hours at Oaklands Leisure swimming pool. Would highly recommend as you have sole use of the pool and the changing area, which the kids loved!
We have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area and so pleased that we chose to stay in this gorgeous cottage!'

Not only is this cottage beautiful and comfortable, but what impressed us was that everything has been thought of - utensils, crockery, indoor and outdoor entertainment, air conditioning and lots of local information.

The welcome was second to none and Duncan has been an extremely attentive and patient host.. Thankyou, this is much appreciated. We enjoyed Oxborough Hall and Southwold Pier (but it is expensive!) The sand dunes at Gt Yarmouth were a hit and so was the tea shop near the Pleasure Beach. We went to Pleasurewood Hills theme park which had one excellent ride for teenagers but the rest of it was better for younger ones. We were glad we used out Tesco vouchers.
